Backup and Restore PI Hole Config

This will go through how to backup and restore a Pi Hole Config

Open up the admin page of your Pi Hole Server

Click on Settings in the left menu

Then select Teleporter from the top menu

To Backup just click the Backup button and this will download a backup to your local computer in the form of a compressed file (tar.gz) that you can store on your pc in case you need it.

To restore select the broswe button and browse to the backup you want to restore select the file and click Restore

This will restore the whole config back to the date of the backup file you have chosen
You can also just restore certain items for instance if you have been configuring adlists and then removed 1 that you didnt mean to remove.
In this case click browse and select the backup you want to restore and just untick all but the adlists then click Restore and that will only restore the adlist.

This way you can selectively restore any part of the config at any time
